Free Co-Working spots in London 2023

As a digital nomad who has been living in London for a year, I have had the pleasure of working at some of the best free co-working spaces the city has to offer. One of the biggest advantages of living in London is the abundance of free places to work from. These places are not only free but also offer fast and reliable Wi-Fi, which is essential for remote work.

One of my go-to places for free co-working spaces in central London is the British Library. The library offers a range of study areas, including desks, tables, and even pods, with power sockets, and of course, free Wi-Fi. The atmosphere is peaceful, and there are plenty of resources available, such as books and journals, to aid in research and productivity.

Another great place to work for free in central London is the Barbican Centre. This cultural hub offers free Wi-Fi, plenty of seating areas, and even an outdoor terrace with stunning views of the city. The atmosphere is creative and vibrant, and there are plenty of events, exhibitions, and performances to enjoy during breaks.

If you’re looking for a more laid-back and cozy atmosphere, then the Espresso Room at the British Museum is an excellent option. This café offers free Wi-Fi, great coffee, and a relaxed environment perfect for getting work done. Plus, you’ll have the added bonus of being surrounded by centuries of history and culture.

For those who prefer a more modern and chic atmosphere, then Ace Hotel Shoreditch is a great option. The hotel’s lobby offers a spacious and stylish co-working space with free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and plenty of natural light. It’s a popular spot for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and creatives.

Lastly, if you’re in the Soho area, then the Soho Grind is a great spot for free co-working. The café offers a range of seating options, including booths and communal tables, and a lively atmosphere that’s perfect for getting work done. The coffee and food are also excellent, and the free Wi-Fi is reliable.

In conclusion, London has an abundance of free co-working spaces that are perfect for digital nomads and remote workers. Whether you prefer a peaceful library, a cultural center, a cozy café, a modern hotel, or a lively café, there is a place for you to work for free and get things done. Just be sure to take advantage of these spaces while you can and make the most of your time in this fantastic city.
