Freelance work.
A different backdrop.
Build the working relationship first, then work out where it can travel.
Make your offer clear.
Describe a specific service, who it is for and the deliverables. A narrow, useful offer is easier to explain than a long list of everything you could do.
Show the relevant work.
Pick examples that demonstrate the work you want to sell. Label self-initiated projects honestly and get permission before using client material.
Agree on the practical details.
Write down scope, deadlines, feedback rounds, payment arrangements and how you will communicate. Confirm any location or data-access requirements with your client.
Test a normal working week.
Before relying on a new location, check calls, connection, power, access to your files and a backup place to work. Build a routine that supports delivery.
Price the trip separately.
Use the budget worksheet for travel and living costs, including any costs you still pay at home. Check official requirements relevant to your circumstances before booking.
